Why a person, and not a bot
Selling a car means sharing details that matter: the mileage, the service history, the papers. For now, every car offered by a private seller is reviewed by a person from the gool.li team before it is shown to a buyer. That makes it possible to fix an inconsistency, fill in a missing detail and keep a typing mistake from putting serious buyers off. If something does not line up between your description and the papers, we tell you plainly and talk it through with you.
Buyers who have already said what they want
The buyers who write to gool.li describe the car they are looking for: model, budget, city, fuel, gearbox. Your car is shown to them when it answers that request, with the same reading as any other ad: where the price sits against comparable cars, and what deserves a question. If your price is well above the comparables, the person following your file can show you where it sits, so that you decide with full knowledge.
Your contact details stay under your control
Your number is not displayed to everyone. When a buyer is interested in your car and asks to talk to you, the introduction happens on WhatsApp, and that is when you exchange numbers. To change the price or withdraw the car, just write it in the conversation. If you sell elsewhere, say so: the car is no longer shown. And you can write STOP at any time to stop and delete your data.
Selling with care
A few rules apply to any private car sale in Morocco. Meet the buyer in a busy place, in daylight. Hand over neither the keys nor the carte grise before you have been paid, and prefer a traceable payment. Be wary of a buyer who offers to pay more than the asking price or who asks you for a code received by SMS. For the transfer of ownership, prepare the carte grise, your ID and the signed, legalised sale contract, and check the current list of documents with the registration centre or with NARSA.
